The GoHawkeye Foundation Story

GoHawkeye is celebrating its 10th anniversary!

This commemoration represents the culmination of a lifetime of dedicated fundraising efforts by Michael ‘Hawkeye’ Johnson. Over the past decade, Hawkeye has achieved significant milestones:

•Instructed 21 years with Telluride Adaptive Sports Program: 2000-2021, $50,000 raised by hiking 6,000 miles.

•20+ years of volunteer service with the Elks Club Scholarship Program.

•Started GoHawkeye.org in 2014 as a non profit foundation..

•Assisted 137 adaptive individuals and 11 adaptive organizations with equipment and

experience grants totaling over $400,000.

•4,000 miles hiked so far for GoHawkeye fundraising.

•GoHawkeye is 100% volunteer-run, with over 90% of funds raised directly benefiting those in need.

Hawkeye is the captain of our crew & the driving force, guiding and supporting athletes across the country.
